Muller’s Smart Carts
As with all great products, the original Muller’s Smart Cart was created out of need for something better. In 1975, Brigadier General Henry Muller of Santa Barbara, California was presented with a problem: His wife who was in her 60’s, was unable to manage a wheelbarrow in their stable without it tilting and causing back pain. Because he knew how much his wife loved her stable work, Henry Muller created the first easy-to-use, lightweight, durable and well balanced stable cart on the market. He patented his new product the Muller’s Stablemate and began selling his design at nearby stables and ranches.
Though the company’s name has changed throughout the years from Muller’s Town and Country Cart to Smart Cart to Carr Industries to Muller’s Smart Carts of Maine, to Muller’s Carts and finally to Smart Carts Enterprises LLC, the product’s original design remains practically unchanged. Brigadier General Muller’s original design has been shown time and again to withstand heavy use for decades with little to no need for maintenance or repair.Their carts are found at the White House, Walt Disney’s Landscaping Departments, many Zoos including the San Diego Zoo, at MGM Studios, The Hearst Castle, at Strybing Arboretum and beyond. Today, they are based out in Gorham, Maine (near Portland) making the same quality carts that began in 1975. They use local suppliers for parts beyond their capabilities.
These legendary carts are designed with ergonomics and ease of movement in mind. These carts are made from durable plastics and steel and come with A lifetime warranty on the frame and a 5-year warranty on the tub.

Fold-It Carts by Tipke Manufacturing Company
Tipke Manufacturing Company, Inc. has been dedicated to producing quality metal goods for over 40 years. All parts are fabricated to the standard and preciseness that customers require and have come to expect from them.
The Fold it cart is the best aluminium cart out there for gardening, boating, and marine applications. Made in Washington, USA, these wagons became super famous for their low weight, 20″ (50cm) wheels, manoeuvrability, and stability over any terrain. Hardly any effort is required to move the cart with a 330lb (150kg) load on it. Once folded the carts require less than 2 sf storage space. Due to its light weight and small footprint when folded this is a perfect boating cart. These carts are super easy to clean because they are all aluminium – just use a garden hose and do not worry about any rust: the high-grade marine aluminium construction is completely rust and corrosion resistant, even after years of exposure to salt water.
GardenCart.ca sells a number of the Fold-It Carts including Industrial Foldit Carts and accessories like the Bicycle Hitch Trailer Hitch, half-height and full-height rear gates.
Reels on Wheels by CPI Designs
CPI Designs is an American manufacturing company that produces welded aluminum products for the sporting goods industry, including the Reels on Wheels brand fishing carts, Beagle & Bird dog boxes, and Easy Step folding ladders, as well as accessories. GardenCart.ca sells a number of the Reels on Wheels fishing carts.
For delivery there are two options: picking up your garden cart or have it shipped to you. In an effort to provide best possible prices on garden carts, shipping to most locations in Canada is free, GardenCart reserve the right to select the carrier: Canada Post, UPS, Fedex, Freight, or local delivery service in the GTA.
Shipping is free to most locations but not all. Excluded are Newfoundland, NWT, Yukon, and Nunavut. However they reserve the right to refuse free shipping to any other location if it’s remote at their discretion (e.g. rural areas, northern BC, northern Quebec etc.). In that case, they can provide you with a shipping quote; they will only ask you to pay the amount which is above the regular shipping rate. Returns to GardenCart are accepted within 14 days of delivery or pick up date, as recorded by the carrier’s online tracking system.
This is a great option if you wish to save and also get your trailer quicker and safer. Pickups are available from our partner warehouse in Mississauga, Ontario ( near Steeles Ave. and Bramalea) You’ll still need to make your order through the website, but they offer a discount on all trailers if you are picking up, just check the pickup option at checkout and discount will be applied when you order. Note: they’ll need at least one business day to have your trailer ready for pick up, and this option is only available when paying by credit card, not PayPal.
